In a few days, Mrs. Maier has her birthday. Now that she finally has friends, there is a reason to celebrate. But then she finds the body of a respected citizen of the village in a parking lot, and her desire to celebrate fades away. Mrs. Maier actually wanted to stay out of criminal cases - if only her infallible intuition didn't keep pulling her in. Was it the stranger who has recently been hanging around the village, and no one knows who he is? Or is the motive rooted in the victim's past? When a second murder occurs, Mrs. Maier must continue her investigation and finds herself in great danger.
