The seemingly small demands of life, such as leaving a short message, writing an apology, or filling out an address form, often become insurmountable hurdles for students with special educational needs. However, targeted practice provides relief. Based on everyday writing situations, students are guided step by step to compose messages, invitations, emails, and letters, as well as to fill out templates and forms. Concrete tips on text structure and the use of linguistic means assist in this process. Evaluating and revising example texts is practiced to apply these skills to both personal and others' texts. The tasks are offered in two differentiation levels and reinforced through repetitive exercises. New and particularly practical: the accompanying CD contains all the working materials in an editable format.
