Station-based learning offers promising opportunities to convey the content of lessons not only cognitively but also to inspire students in the subject of history and to cater to their varying levels of achievement. It allows students to engage in responsible, self-directed, and cooperative learning. This volume briefly explains the method of station-based learning and its practical implementation in the classroom. In the practical section of the book, the four topics "Imperialism," "Year of Epoch 1917," "Weimar Republic," and "National Socialism" are presented in a motivating way for students. At each of four to seven mandatory as well as various additional stations, students are introduced to the respective topic. This is achieved through creative text work, a product-oriented approach, and numerous opportunities for differentiated instruction.
