Here, they engage with a different animal each week: they read or listen to very short texts about the animal and then solve a small math problem related to it every day. Numerous illustrations help beginning readers understand the content. The children primarily practice addition and subtraction, but also prepare for multiplication and division, compare sizes and quantities, or look at simple graphs.
