Our consumer world is enticing. Suddenly, even unaffordable products seem accessible to everyone, as there are advertisements everywhere for supposedly cheap credit offers or installment purchases. The danger in this is that especially young people often do not see through these offers, frequently spend beyond their means, and increasingly fall into debt. With the consumer driver's license, your students become conscious consumers. They are made aware of the importance of critically questioning advertisements, distinguishing between genuine needs and spontaneous desires, analyzing their own purchasing behavior, and managing their budget effectively. Through case studies and informational texts, your students also learn to recognize consumer traps and how to respond appropriately.
