Many resources for basic handwriting, intended to replace the previous connected cursive styles, focus solely on practicing individual letters. There are very few practice materials with suggestions and examples for connecting the individual letters. The consequence – and thus the widespread concern – is that students remain stuck in a form of print writing during their learning process and miss the step toward developing their own fluid handwriting. This volume provides a solution! For each letter and letter combination, there are a total of 56 worksheets with exercises and guidelines for the writing sequence, as well as suggestions for connecting the individual letters – and also tasks where words must be written in connected script. Five short dictation texts offer additional material for practice at the sentence level.
