Personnel is the central and critical resource in the controlling area. Therefore, personnel management in controlling must receive a correspondingly high level of attention. The aim of this AC volume is to examine various aspects of personnel management in controlling in detail and to highlight essential topics and areas of action. Initially, the attractiveness of the controller profession will be assessed based on a large-scale study involving 1,800 students. Subsequently, in-depth interviews with members of the Center for Controlling & Management will provide a detailed analysis of the two core topics of personnel management - personnel acquisition and personnel development - as well as offer insights for practical changes and concrete measures.
