This anthology presents the current perspectives and positions of leading scholars in German-speaking educational biographical research. In addition to studies on the societal changes in self-presentations, the contributions address methodological issues in the analysis of biographical materials, focusing particularly on reflection formats, introductory sequences, and learning and educational processes. Additional perspectives explore the contributions of biographical research to professional research and learning research, especially within the context of lifelong learning.
