Product details

In a picture book, a tree doesn't quite fit. Tobias Krejtschi creates space for a climbing adventure in dizzying heights with his accordion book. In the north, where there are moose and little creatures with knitted hats, there stands a tree in the forest. At the very bottom, among the roots, lives a little creature in its cave, known as the Root Goblin. At the very top, in the swaying treetop, lives the Treetop Goblin. The Root Goblin would love to go all the way up. The Treetop Goblin dreams of the dark cave far below. So, both set off on their journey: one climbing up, the other going down. And when they finally arrive—after enlightening encounters with other tree inhabitants? Well, they sit down and are content. But the calm is deceptive. When you turn the accordion book, the whole climbing adventure starts all over again.
