Product details

Outsiders in the sense of labor dispute law are defined as non-organized and differently organized employees and employers. Their rights and obligations in labor disputes are presented and examined in this work. The starting point of the study is a conflict faced by outsiders regarding their position in collective bargaining law on one hand and in labor dispute law on the other. After a detailed presentation of the situation in Germany, the author outlines the position of outsiders in Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, the USA, and France. Based on the insights gained from this, the third part of the work considers whether and how the currently somewhat unsatisfactory situation of outsiders in Germany could be resolved in a more satisfactory manner for all parties involved.
