The work examines the question of what legal consequences altruistic actions can have, particularly what liability consequences may arise from favor relationships. The focus of the study is on the handling of liability cases arising from favor relationships by the judiciary based on current law. In the course of this investigation and to derive its own proposed solutions, the author also explores the development of liability from altruistic actions over time, the changing legal and social morals associated with it, and takes a look at the legal systems of selected other countries.
