So far, no one has addressed the questions of which Polish expulsion decrees are still in effect and what legal impact they have today. This gap in research is being closed. An analysis of court rulings shows that legal action in Poland against the expropriations that occurred during the expulsion of Germans is not without hope. This is particularly true for Jewish property owners. Furthermore, the presentation of property acquisition by Germans in Poland illustrates that the displaced persons can already enjoy their right to homeland quite easily today. The volume contains all Polish expulsion decrees in their current wording, making it a reference work for anyone wanting to form their own opinion in the debate about their continued validity.
