An attempted offense involves a wide range of doctrinal problems within core criminal law. In this regard, issues are affected that are currently debated in an almost overwhelming manner. This work aims to bring clarity to the partly contradictory views and contribute to solving the problems. The focus is on the questions of attempted indirect perpetration and attempted co-perpetration through active conduct as well as through omission.
