Karl Heim (1874-1958) shaped generations of pastors as a theologian at the universities of Halle, Münster, and since 1920 in Tübingen, as well as serving as an early preacher at the Tübingen Stiftskirche from 1920 to 1948. Among his listeners were many non-theologians, as Karl Heim had a remarkable ability to simplify complex scientific concepts in an accessible and accurate manner, while also engaging in fruitful dialogue between the Christian faith and these findings. The 24th volume of this yearbook focuses on the relationship between evolution and creation, and also includes contributions addressing scientifically and ethically relevant issues. This yearbook further emphasizes Karl Heim's lasting significance for a dialogical theology in the 21st century.
