Lifting and carrying people with physical disabilities and illnesses can cause damage to the support and musculoskeletal system. Nevertheless, this issue is not adequately addressed in the training of nursing staff, social educators, and special educators. The reasons for this are diverse, one of which can be seen in the lack of a teaching curriculum. This book aims to present a curriculum that allows for the effective and simple training of lifting and carrying techniques. It is designed to enable the lifter to work in a back-friendly manner while integrating the person being lifted according to their remaining abilities. The curriculum includes fundamental concepts of kinesiology.
