The Anglican Kenneth McAll is regarded as the founder of the practice of healing the family tree. This goes far beyond healing and deliverance prayer, which holds a firm place in the prayer life and liturgy of the Catholic Church. Soon, particularly charismatic-oriented groups became convinced of the importance of McAll's approach. As various concerns were also raised, it seems urgent to investigate whether McAll's conception is compatible with Catholic doctrine and practice in all respects. This study will not only present McAll's healing program but also explore its compatibility with Catholic teachings regarding sin and salvation, sacraments, and eschatology. In some areas, there are points of agreement or connection, but also discrepancies and incompatibilities.
