Product details
The attempt to find an understanding approach to creativity initially leads to a critique of the dualism in Western worldviews. From Plato to modern science, the hierarchical division of the world along the dualisms of reason/nature, spirit/matter, man/woman, etc., is linked to power structures. Beyond critique, ways of knowledge acquisition and knowledge production must be developed that move away from dualistic thinking - for this, the concept of knowledge art is proposed. Some of the resulting claims are already being implemented in this work. The examples of pedagogical creativity, which already practice knowledge art in their own ways, demonstrate that the relationship between education and creativity does not necessarily have to be problematic.
