Didactic principles are determining factors in exemplary teaching and educational processes. In a literary context, they become pedagogically effective as linguistic forms of expression. This book aims to explore the educational and formative dimensions of selected didactic principles within Hellenistic-Roman literature and the Lukan double work, incorporating ancient rhetoric and narrative research. It focuses on an area that has been overlooked by Lukan exegesis and examines the relationship between Luke's literary work and ancient education. It turns out that the various facets of Lukan pedagogy reveal the author as a theologically skilled educator, who strives to provide his contemporaries with a specifically Christian approach to the ancient world of education through linguistic means.
