In recent years, various application and career exploration processes have been developed or rediscovered during phases of high unemployment. However, the underlying concepts of human nature associated with these processes have received little attention, despite their significant influence on the fit between job seekers and their search objectives. This book addresses this connection and engages with the concept of human nature. For a specific method, Life/Work Planning, the underlying concept of human nature is first elaborated. The concrete practical benefits and feasibility of the method are analyzed and presented based on interviews with graduates of the process, a trainer, and an economic expert.
