Product details
The Missa Hebraica by Hans Darmstadt was created between 1994 and 2004 in Kassel and was premiered in its entirety in October 2005. The documentation provides insights into the creative process (Hans Darmstadt and Corinna Dahlgrün), captures reception impressions from musical and theological perspectives (Herbert Glossner, Volker Stümke, Christfried Brödel, Albert Gerhards, and Peter Zacher), shares experiences from participants (Norbert Laude and Helmut Kornemann), and reflects on the use of the mass in school religious education (Johannes Goldenstein). Additionally, it includes the complete text of the Missa as well as the program notes from the composer for each movement. The CD featuring a live recording of the premiere is included with this volume.
