Product details

Interim legal protection is gaining increasing importance in international civil procedural law. The treatment of this topic under German and French international civil procedural law is the subject of this study. An initial examination and comparison of the regulations of the autonomous law of both countries is presented. The focus then shifts to the consideration of the unified European international civil procedural law, which is applied in both states. This was recently reformed and partially revised by Council Regulation No. 44/2001, known as the European Jurisdiction and Enforcement Regulation (EuGVVO). Interim legal protection has only received limited explicit regulation in this context. The relevant provisions of the EuGVVO and the case law related to the EuGVVO and the EuGVÜ are comprehensively analyzed and commented on in this work.
