The work designs a portfolio for strategic and development-oriented educational management in socio-economic transformation processes. A wide range of fundamental and currently discussed educational science topics is reconstructed interdisciplinary, focusing on organization and management, to make statements regarding an educationally appropriate educational management. Educational management is related to various design fields of schools and continuing education institutions on a political, organizational, and socio-educational level, in order to diagnose, shape, and balance educational institutions in light of development-related tensions. The developed model aims to specifically enable reflexivity within and from educational organizations in complex and dynamic development processes, illustrating both theoretical justification contexts and pragmatic design options for how a professional transformation of educational institutions can be achieved.
