Product details
The relationship between siblings is a special bond that emerges with the birth of the second child in a family. Based on observational data collected over 30 months from four sibling pairs within their families, this study illustrates how sibling relationships develop and change. The action-theoretical perspective provides the framework under which the collected data is described, analyzed, and interpreted. This allows for comparison with the results of other studies and shows that sibling relationships in childhood undergo phases that correspond with the development of the siblings.
