The prevailing image of the 'Church Struggle' is primarily constructed from the perspective of a specific church-political group, the 'Confessing Church.' However, 'Church Struggle' is less a term of understanding than one of interpretation. Theology and church politics are intertwined. Key terms such as 'destroyed' and 'true' church primarily stem from church-political decisions. Especially through Karl Barth's theological style of thinking, church-political rhetoric is embedded in a theological context, suggesting that church-political behaviors are a direct result of dogmatic-theological insight.
