The 1st to 4th editions were published under the title "Care Concepts in Continuing Education for Nursing Professionals." The first and second parts provide the theoretical foundation for nursing didactics based on the "Model of Multidimensional Patient Orientation" developed by the author. This theoretical foundation is linked in the third part to a critically constructive didactics grounded in educational theory, resulting in a critically constructive nursing didactics. The fourth part, which is closely related in time, contains a systematically developed transition to a critically constructive nursing learning field didactics. This connects to the currently widely discussed learning field concept in vocational and economic education and makes it fruitful for nursing education for the first time. Fundamental discussions on action orientation at the goal, content, and delivery levels provide concrete guidance for developing a curriculum focused on nursing actions and nursing learning fields.
