The shift towards global corporate structures increasingly requires the assumption of management tasks at an international level. This volume enriches the state of research on intercultural management with two empirical elements: On one hand, it analyzes the business administration courses with international or intercultural relevance offered at German universities. On the other hand, it presents the results of a comprehensive survey of managers in internationally active companies regarding the intercultural management competence of their leaders and the necessary qualifications. In this context, the success factors of international business operations are also discussed. Finally, the results of the manager survey are examined in light of the preceding analysis of the course offerings.
