It's easy to break the rules when no one is watching.

Tiernan is used to a life of luxury. But after the death of her parents, she finds herself in the remote wilderness of Colorado – in the care of Jake, her father's stepbrother, who lives in the mountains with his two sons. Tiernan must assert herself in this harsh environment while grappling with loss, loneliness, and her place in the world.
