Who likes to live in their car? Stan and Charmaine, caught in the turmoil of the economic crisis, are desperate. The Positron Project, a social experiment, promises a life of safety. They hastily sign up, even though the conditions are peculiar - all residents of the town of Consilience switch monthly between the status of a prisoner and that of a free person. At first, everything goes well - even though Charmaine and Stan each develop a sexual obsession for their housemates - those people who inhabit their home while they are in prison. But then, due to a booking error, the two find themselves in different cycles, and soon much more than just their marriage is at stake...
