Anthony Gobert (March 5, 1975, in Greenacre, Strathfield Municipality, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian motorcycle racer. Anthony Gobert proved to be a consistent talent in motorcycle racing who never quite managed to achieve significant success. After finishing fourth in the Superbike World Championship season in 1995 with two wins in his home country of Australia (Phillip Island) and at Laguna Seca, he had a promising Superbike season in 1996 with three more GP victories (again at Laguna Seca and both races at Phillip Island). An injury alone prevented him from achieving a better overall position than eighth. His two transitions to the motorcycle world championship yielded only meager results; he was unable to showcase his true potential.
