The OpticBook A300 Plus scans an A3 page in approximately 2.48 seconds or a 200-page A4 book in about 20 minutes. Its design, specifically oriented towards book edges, and the patented SEE technology prevent shadowing and distortions that occur when scanning with conventional flatbed scanners or copiers. This allows even sensitive book formats to be processed gently. Scanned documents are automatically cropped and aligned during the scanning process and can then be saved in various file formats such as PDF or TIFF.

Plustek's patented SEE (Shadow Elimination Element) technology integrates mechanical and optical technologies with intelligent software to deliver perfect results even within 2 mm of the book spine. Shadows and text distortions that occur when scanning books with traditional scanners are eliminated.

The included intelligent software of the A300 Plus automatically detects opposite book pages and rotates them 180° into the correct orientation. This allows even extensive works to be processed quickly and without further manual editing steps.

Scanned books and documents can be saved in various file formats, such as searchable PDFs, in just seconds. Searchable PDF files not only offer higher security and reliability but also facilitate the sharing and exchange of documents while maintaining the appearance and integrity of the original documents, including fonts, graphics, images, and layouts.
