The usable dynamic range of 4.01 (with SilverFast Multi-Exposure / in accordance with ISO 21550:2004) and a theoretically achievable maximum density of 4.8 guarantee precise colours and a wealth of detail in bright areas and shadow areas.

The camera is supplied with film holders with flexible bars that adapt perfectly to the different formats and enable the film to be positioned perfectly. The user does not have to cut the film strips as is usually the case. In addition, the scanning workflow is accelerated by the automatic transport of the originals.

The OpticFilm 120 is supplied with the globally recognised professional film scanning software, SilverFast Ai Studio 8. SilverFast iSRD is available for dust and scratch removal to optimise the image. SilverFast Multi-Exposure increases the dynamic range and reduces image noise. With Auto IT8 calibration, colour calibration is performed in 2 minutes, ensuring the colour accuracy of all subsequent scans.
