Anke Heimes, born on July 28, 1957, in Holz near Heusweiler, is a German politician and a member of the CDU. She was a member of the Saarland Parliament from 1999 to 2009. Heimes has been a member of the CDU local association in Wemmetsweiler since 1987. From 1989 to 2006, she served on the municipal council of Merchweiler and was the first deputy mayor of Merchweiler from 1999 to 2006. In 1994, she became a board member of the local and municipal association. From 2006 to 2008, she was the chairwoman of the CDU local association in Wemmetsweiler. From 2000 to 2005, she was the chairwoman of the KPV Neunkirchen and has been the deputy chairwoman since 2005. In May 2006, she ran for mayor in the municipality of Schiffweiler but lost to the SPD candidate Wolfgang Stengel in the first round of voting.
