Anne Bonnet, originally Anne Thonet (May 16, 1908 in Brussels, Belgium; November 14, 1960 in the same place), was a Belgian painter. She was an important representative of abstract painting in the 1950s with international recognition. Anne Bonnet was born as Anne Thonet and became an orphan at the age of 17. She studied art at the Académie de Bruxelles from 1924 to 1926. After her marriage, she continued her studies from 1936 to 1938 at the Académie de Saint-Josse-ten-Noode (Brussels). There, she met the artists Gaston Bertrand and Louis Van Lint, with whom she would collaborate throughout her life. In 1945, Anne Thonet co-founded, along with Gaston Bertrand, Jan Cox, Louis Van Lint, Marc Mendelson, James Ensor, and others, the foundation La Jeune Peinture Belge, which aimed to enable young Belgian artists to participate.
