Subjectivation research aims to understand the subject-constitutive effects of social, discursive, and material orders. It examines how individuals and groups are produced in the process of subjectivation and how they produce each other. How are subjects positioned? How do they position themselves? To investigate positions and positioning, the contributions draw on subject-theoretical approaches as well as interpretative methods, thereby expanding the methodological repertoire of social, cultural, and educational sciences.
