In contrast to many other management modes, the dual objective of both people and results orientation has proven to be sustainable. Positive leadership focuses on the idea of positive management at the individual, interpersonal, and organizational levels. The GRID approach, an already established and proven concept with high practical relevance, is used and extended for this purpose. Current and innovative approaches are employed; for example, personnel management is analyzed against the background of positive emotions, virtuousness, flow states, and strength orientation. The guiding ideas presented are reviewed conceptually and empirically. Additionally, the authors provide suggestions for further research efforts.
