This study contributes to the empirical research on open child and youth work. Using a multiperspective approach, key protagonists in the field were surveyed in four municipalities in North Rhine-Westphalia at different levels and with various quantitative and qualitative methods. This includes the institutions and their professionals, the visitors, as well as the children and young people who do not utilize the services, the cooperation partners of open child and youth work, and the governing politics and administration. The results reveal both continuity and new developments and potentials.
