The revised Nursing Act, which came into effect on January 1, 2004, brought several innovations to health and nursing schools. One of these was the assignment of responsibility for practical supervision to the school's domain. This work begins by addressing the legal requirements, additional conditions, and challenges in nursing education and describes the implementation of practical supervision using a specific example. The research design consists of both a quantitative and a qualitative survey. The quantitative survey investigates whether and to what extent the planning of the research field has been realized. The qualitative part assesses the relevance of the various forms of practical supervision for practical training. The central aim of this book is to derive insights from training practice for education.
