The Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) is the central, standardized test of the People's Republic of China for Chinese as a foreign language. This book is designed to help learners prepare for the grammar, characters, and vocabulary of Level 2 of the HSK (HSK 2) through self-study. It is aligned with the new HSK exam structure that was introduced in 2010. All exam formats, such as listening and reading comprehension, are practiced intensively according to the new HSK exam format. Solutions to the exercises allow for self-assessment.
