The aim of the book is to introduce students of engineering or natural sciences to programming as a key qualification with numerous application possibilities. The implementation of programming concepts and algorithmic procedures is carried out in Java in this book. In the first part, the author provides an introduction to the basic concepts of Java, while the second part presents algorithmic procedures from the field of numerical analysis as well as general methods for designing algorithms.
