Throughout their professional careers, computer scientists must continually familiarize themselves with new programming and specialized languages. The success of this ongoing learning process is significantly influenced by the level of knowledge regarding programming styles and the associated ways of thinking. Knowledge of paradigms is therefore of particular importance and must be established early in the curriculum. This book employs a completely new didactic approach to convey this knowledge: it uses only a single language in which all paradigms can be expressed and other fundamental programming concepts can be addressed.
