Abstract: My many years of experience as an educator in the field of daycare centers give me the impression that consumption and addiction behaviors are closely linked. In my personal life, with two teenage children of my own, their circle of friends, and also with friends' children of a similar age, I continuously engage with this topic. I find myself asking: What are the causes of addictive behavior and dependency? What does addiction prevention mean in concrete terms? What can addiction prevention achieve? This, in turn, led to the question: What can innovative addiction projects look like to effectively engage and impact children and adolescents?.
