The presentation follows the three development steps of project management:

• Project management specifically deals with the efficient planning, implementation, and control of individual projects.
• Management through projects focuses on multi-project management and the question of how projects can contribute to the strategic development and value enhancement of the company.
• In a project-oriented company, projects are at the core of the business. This requires a consistent alignment of all management functions with project management.
