In what ways and influenced by which factors do reference lines emerge between education and the (re)production of social inequality? Focusing on processes of social inequality, this volume presents recent empirical research findings and discusses practical consequences in four thematic blocks. The emphasis is placed on transitions, aspects of migration, educational settings, and discourses. Theoretical debates, such as those surrounding the concept of intersectionality, are also taken into account. Overall, a multi-perspective view of the issue of education and social inequality is developed.
