The goal of this new work aid is to better understand one's own feelings—whether positive or negative—and to expand one's options for action. It is a supplementary module to the successful manual "Coping with Crises." The two authors have developed an effective program that is now used in many clinics and outpatient settings. This new module also impresses with its detailed explanations and creative materials available for download, such as mood logs, sketchbooks, and diaries, as well as the so-called "emotion beads," which encourage individuals to talk about their feelings and experience them as an important and meaningful part of themselves.
