Many children are shy, and for most, this behavior passes over time. However, some children develop anxiety disorders that need to be treated. The present program provides everything necessary for therapy for children aged 5 to 12 years. The successful program can be used in both individual and group settings and is complemented by materials for diagnostics and a parent program. The new edition has been expanded to include a module on psychoeducation. Some children are too shy to play with others or to speak up in school. This therapy program specifically aims to build and strengthen the social skills that are often underdeveloped in these children. The training for socially insecure children offers a well-founded concept for working with preschool and school-aged children (up to 12 years) as well as with parents.
