The Sigmund Freud Complete Works (SFG), established in 2015 by Christfried Tögel, comprises 23 volumes and is the first collection of writings that includes all works intended for publication by Sigmund Freud—this includes his reviews and contributions to manuals and encyclopedias. Freud's writings are presented in the form in which they first appeared. All texts are preceded by brief introductions that provide biographical and historical context. An overview at the end of each volume facilitates the location of texts in the collected writings, collected works, and study edition. Volume 11 of the SFG includes, among other works, the piece "Obsessive Actions and Religious Practices."
