The Sigmund Freud Complete Works (SFG), founded in 2015 by Christfried Tögel, consists of 23 volumes and is the first collection of writings that includes all works intended for publication by Sigmund Freud, including his reviews and contributions to manuals and encyclopedias. Freud's writings are made accessible in the form in which they were first published. All texts are preceded by brief introductions providing biographical and historical context. An overview at the end of each volume facilitates the location of texts within the collected writings, collected works, and study edition. One of Freud's most important works in the twelfth volume is the five lectures "On Psychoanalysis."
