In light of demographic change, the relationship between generations is at the center of public interest. However, from a psychological perspective, the topic of transgenerationality is not exhausted. This volume addresses the question of transgenerationality with regard to the transmission of values within families, the design of successor-predecessor processes, the passing on of traumas, the development of historical consciousness, and the construction of generational relationships in migrant contexts. It considers psychoanalytic, cultural psychological, and genetic-structuralist positions, as well as narrative theoretical considerations. With their help, the temporality and meaning construction associated with the theme of generations are elaborated.
