Individual psychology is a psychodynamic school with an open horizon that is specifically compatible with analytical body psychotherapy. The authors illustrate this from philosophical, theoretical, and practical perspectives, explicitly addressing the relationship between Alfred Adler's individual psychology and analytical body psychotherapy in a comprehensive manner for the first time. This volume encourages training candidates, practitioners, and educators of individual psychology to incorporate body therapeutic elements into their therapies. Case studies demonstrate how the close theoretical connections between the two schools can be made fruitful for individual psychological practice.
