Two brothers, a village in East Saxony, and an anger that keeps growing. Philipp and Tobias grow up in the province of Saxony. In summer, the air shimmers over the concrete slabs, and in winter, the frost breaks up the roads. The construction of their parents' house seems to mark the beginning of a new life. Yet, forgotten behind the trees lie the industrial remnants of the GDR, and beneath the uniformity of daily life simmers the fear of losing their homeland. The lack of prospects becomes increasingly threatening for Philipp and Tobias. When demonstrations occur in Dresden and their hometown is to take in refugees, the situation escalates.
